Blue Seal/Waldorf GPLB8450G-CD Chrome Top 45cm Thermostatic Natural Gas Griddle
Description
The Blue Seal / Waldorf GPLB8450G-CD Chrome Top model adds a premium mirror chrome plate option (CR) to the standard 450mm griddle on a cabinet base. The official model identifier for the chrome plate version typically updates to GP8450GLCR-CD or includes the chrome option code. [1]
Standout Chrome Top Advantages
- Mirror Chrome Finish: The 20mm thick chromed steel plate significantly reduces radiant heat emissions into the kitchen. It ensures faster heat-up times and lower ambient kitchen temperatures. [1, 2]
- Flavor Integrity: The non-porous chrome surface prevents flavor transfer between different ingredients (e.g., cooking fish then pancakes) and delivers a high-gloss aesthetic. [1]
- Maintenance Note: To protect the finish, never use a ribbed scraper blade or harsh abrasives on a flat chrome griddle surface. Only use flat blades or specialised cleaning blocks. [1]
